Artificial Intelligence is now part of everyday learning.It helps kids write, create, solve problems, and even draw.
But hereās the question:Do our children know when itās okay to use AI ā and when itās not?
Is it alright to submit something made by AI as their own work?
Should they trust an app with their face or voice?
Do they know what to do if AI suggests something inappropriate?
These arenāt just technical questions. Theyāre ethical ones.Thatās why AI literacy, critical thinking, and metacognition need to be part of every childās education today.

In 2025, Australia is making big changes to support young people online:
Students under 16 will need verified consent to open social media accounts.
Schools will have greater authority to suspend or expel students for harmful behaviour outside of school ā like cyberbullying or sharing inappropriate AI content.
Why? Because what happens online doesnāt stay online.
A comment, a video, a message ā it can impact friendships, learning, and mental health.Real safety requires real boundaries, whether on the playground or on a phone.
